Are you going to do the half or what's your plan?

Re: Still Doing Fine

Jude made a good observation. Flu kills about 36,000 a year on average. When the death toll gets to 36,001, call me, otherwise I'm not interested in the swine flu anymore.

Also, we both, yes both, are signing up for Rock n Roll in Vegas in December. Interested?

Re: Avoiding Mediocrity: Do You Dare to Be Different?

Sorry I mean accept the permanent, I guess and I can't even fucking spell right.

Re: Avoiding Mediocrity: Do You Dare to Be Different?

I am so sick of being mediocre, however the blog above does not help me very much. I'm not exactly sure what is meant by it all. I guess that means I am below mediocre. I feel so dull all the time and everytime I think I have the power of change in my grasp something happens that pushes me back down. I don't know what to do anymore but just except the permanent.

Re: Obama for Change

Has anyone checked out obama's Obama for Change website? Just go to your favorite search engine and type in "obama for change"
Go to the Obama for change website and click on the "issues" button.
Unbelievable! He's pandering, and its not pretty.
From the site:
"...illegals should be deported...", "...national heatlh care is not the answer..."

Re: Rocky Mountain Pain

Slacker 1/2? Do you feel like it after today?

Re: Rocky Mountain Pain

Would have blogged sooner, but went to the sidewalk chalk festival down at Larimer Square. Really wasn't a great idea as I was limping the whole time :) Knee is doing much better after a couple hours of icing and about a 1,000 calories.

Have been debating the Slacker Half, but the next one I am registered for is the Denver Marathon ... yes, the full 26.2 miles!

Re: Rocky Mountain Pain

Congratulations on gittin' it done, Alex! Hope your knee feels better very soon. 22 minutes is a huge improvement. Looking to do another 1/2 soon? :) Have been checking your blog all day to find your update, that was prompt blogging!

Re: Obama for Change

He's for change all right, he rewrote history by saying that a family member helped liberate Aushwitz. Slight problem as the Russians got there first! If he keeps 'inventing' things like that, he's going to come off as Al Gore 2.0!!!

Re: Heat then Snow

Yes it's always been that way. I remember a day in high school, late may. I went to school in shorts & T shirt and was about 75 or so at lunch. By the time we got out at 315, it was snowing.

Re: Night Running

Brunch patrol....funny!!
