Jude made a good observation. Flu kills about 36,000 a year on average. When the death toll gets to 36,001, call me, otherwise I'm not interested in the swine flu anymore.

Also, we both, yes both, are signing up for Rock n Roll in Vegas in December. Interested?

I am so sick of being mediocre, however the blog above does not help me very much. I'm not exactly sure what is meant by it all. I guess that means I am below mediocre. I feel so dull all the time and everytime I think I have the power of change in my grasp something happens that pushes me back down. I don't know what to do anymore but just except the permanent.

Would have blogged sooner, but went to the sidewalk chalk festival down at Larimer Square. Really wasn't a great idea as I was limping the whole time :) Knee is doing much better after a couple hours of icing and about a 1,000 calories.

Have been debating the Slacker Half, but the next one I am registered for is the Denver Marathon ... yes, the full 26.2 miles!

He's for change all right, he rewrote history by saying that a family member helped liberate Aushwitz. Slight problem as the Russians got there first! If he keeps 'inventing' things like that, he's going to come off as Al Gore 2.0!!!

Yes it's always been that way. I remember a day in high school, late may. I went to school in shorts & T shirt and was about 75 or so at lunch. By the time we got out at 315, it was snowing.

Brunch patrol....funny!! I have a reflective vest that I wear for my Dawn Patrol runs & I choose to run against traffic so that I can see them coming.
